Journalism.org - Research, Resources and Ideas to Improve Journalism

This looks like a great site. The Project for Excellence in Journalism has merged with the Committee of Concerned Journalists. They want to elevate their profession and that is a laudable goal.

I've been waiting for someone to do this and IWon.com's founders have taken up the challenge. They have a replacement for My.Yahoo.Com, now that yahoo is so overcommercialized. They have a long way to go before I'll make it my home page, but I have high hopes. Even though IWon.com was pretty commercial, they did it in a smart way and I bet they'll be smart about this too. I never really used IWon.com, btw, but I have more respect for them then the NYTimes article seemed to. That article was again on the same page as the other 2 I mentioned today.
