Diamonds in the news: Tahera a step closer to Canada's next diamond mine.

British Columbia (Reuters) - Production at what is expected to be Canada's third diamond mine is on track to kick off late next year or early in 2006, project owner, Tahera Corp. , said.
The small exploration firm cleared a major hurdle Friday in the development of its Jericho diamond project in Nunavut when the territory in Canada's north said it was happy with findings of a study into the environmental impact of a mine.
