Diamond hunter Maureen Muggeridge is chairing a new exploration company Paramount Mining Corp Ltd which will float this week after closing a $3.5 million capital raising oversubscribed.
Ms Muggeridge, who led the field sampling team that discovered the famous Argyle diamond deposits in Western Australia, said there was potential in Australia for more major discoveries.
The company expects to float on the Australian Stock Exchange on Friday ahead of a two-year $2 million exploration program to develop its WA diamond prospects.
