THERE'S little doubt diamonds are a girl's best friend, but it's a long 60-year wait after the wedding for that diamond anniversary gift . . . or is it?
A revised list of wedding anniversary gifts is set to challenge the "traditional" list and in the 21st century, making it to 10 years of wedded bliss is all that's needed to secure that diamond.
"According to statistics, almost 50 per cent of couples who marry today will be divorced in seven years," said relationships expert Allan Pease. "So making it to 10 years really is quite an achievement."
