finally!
This is a good sign that we are finally moving into the 21st century. Jules Verne would be proud.
As a matter of fact, all americans should be proud of Burt Rutan and his team. A beautiful ship and a simple design. This is a sign that things will soon begin to change re: access to space. This story should be huge. I didn't see it nationally in the press...

See the thing is that with the complex system that NASA has astablished (the space shuttle is the most complictated device known to man) it just isn't pratical to continue the way they have. The new space ship one has a monumentous design that brings the complexites and variables of 1980's space flight to a more manigable and eligant path from earth to the cosmos.

I would like to know when they will charter the first rides in space. In out lifetime, next 10 to 20 years it will be a reality to own, operate or ride in a private ship.
