I saw The Life of David Gale last night. Although I have loved many of Alan Parker's films, I felt the script was a bit too contrived for me and wound up a bit disappointed. However I enjoyed reading the Director's notes much more than the film. Very interesting stuff. The movie is about the Death Penalty.

One of my friends wanted me to see it with her but there are some chick flicks that I won't see even for the prospect of a happy ending.

Hi Alan,
My name is sharon,I am 16 and i am very interested in acting, im even writing my own novel called 'Morpheus'.I was wondering if you could think about making a hit movie on the Irish famine with some famous acters such as Liam Neeson etc. I would love to take part in such a wonderful experience.I am a proud Irish republican from Cork and would like the rest of the world to know about our history!! Thank you..
yours faithfully.
