Lydia Diamond founders receive trading bans over misuse of company funds
The husband-and-wife founders of Lydia Diamond Exploration Ltd. plan to appeal an order by the country's largest stock regulator that forces them to sever formal ties to the company for misusing funds and improperly selling millions of shares to the public.
A panel of the Ontario Securities Commission also ordered Tuesday that Jurgen von Anhalt and Emilia von Anhalt - who claim royal titles of prince and princess from Saxony, a former German principality - must resign as directors and officers of the company and can't attend directors meetings.
