JK rowling...at first i dident really like Harry Potter. I had heard it from my friend! She tried to convince me to read the books but i fipped at the name and said ''no I think it looks stupid!'' But wene harry Potter's first movie came out, my friend druge me alonge to see it. After the movie was over,I demanded my mom to drive me to the book store and get the first book!! After i had finished the first book, I went on to the second,Third and forth one! over the summer i read the 3rd and 4th book two times! I fell in love with the books! When the 2nd movie came out, me and my friend saw the very first showing! CANT WAIT UNTIL IT COMES OUT ON VIDEO!. this might sound pritty pathetice but I memorized the hole movie! word for word! I can recite any line from the movie to you. ANY LINE!!! THERE NEVER WAS A BORING PART! NOT ONE!!( yes i will memorise the second one two!) My defenition of a great writer would be some one that captivates the minds of the reader! takes them to another world when they read the story. You..JK rowling, have that definate quality! all of my prayers and thanks to you! -leona- p.s I would enjoy hearing an email reply from ''YOU''!! THANKS!

Dear Ms. Rowling,
Thank you. I know you probably get about a thousand or more messages like this one a day, but it's only because it's so true for so many people. Thank you so much for your imagination, for your enthusiasm, for your time, and for your books. Despite the wild rumors, despite the court cases, despite it all, you have brought goodness back into a world that so sorely needs it. With all that is happening in the world today, it's very easy to become overwhelmed. Your books are like a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
Erin E.
P.S. Take your time with the rest of the books. This is a personal opinion, but to rush through the remaining volumes, to skip over the little details, would be to destroy the things that make Harry such a pleasure to be around. Remember, it's the little things in life that make it worth living.

Ms. Rowling,
I have a confession to make. I'm 25 years old, and I love Harry Potter. Reading those books got me through a major depression. It might sounds silly to some people, but trust me, losing one's imagination is truly the most horrible thing that can happen to a person. It's like having a Dementor following you around everywhere you go! Harry brought my imagination back, and helped me to dream again.
I really wish I could tell you in person just how much that means to me. Being able to believe in "magic" again brought me across an ocean, to England, to meet my husband. So I guess you could say that in a roundabout way, Harry changed my life.
Thank you.

Dear Ms. Rowling,
I am from India and absabalutbly [ that's the best i can do to emphasise on it] love harry potter. I want to thank you for having written it and for having such imagination.[ sounds wierd-yes but it is true]
But i do feel bad about some things. In India half the kids in my grade love harry potter and the magic is starting to work on the rest. Every second person I talk to is a hard core fan. And despite that the 2nd book was first released here at least a year [probably 2] after it was released in the U.S.
The books -Fantastic beasts and where to find them and Quidditch through the ages seem to be gathering dust in stores in Tokyo but have'nt been heard of here though their pictures and ads appeared at the back of Philosopher's Stone I don't know how long back.
I guess it is absurd telling you this but in any case I do wish they would release the books and the movies on time in India too.
P.S.-If you do read this could you please let me know if you have an e mail I.D.?
Thank you so much.

Hi Joanne Rowling,
I have been wanting to write to you for ages, but I couldn't find your address to write to, it wasn't in your book.
Anyway I just wanted to say I think your books are absolutely brilliant. I have read each book six times!!!
I have read loads of books and I find yours the best out of the lot. The problem is when I try to read other books they are not as good so I end up putting down that book and picking up yours!!! I can't wait until I get to read the fifth book, but I hope you are writing more because if you don't I will have to read the same books over and over again!!!
If you have an Email site could you send it to me because I must be your number one fan, no-one could like your books as much as me. If you haven't got one can I have an address to send some letters please.
CAN YOU PLEASE, PLEASE WRITE MORE BOOKS!!!
Love Nicole!!!

Though I have not read any of your Harry Potter books I am greatly Impressed and Influenced by your phenomenal fame and forture. I am a Consultant Medical Practioner. I had a childhood question that, What is the purpose of our (Humankinds) Existence on the planet. No rational answer exits to this question so far. My experience in the 40 years of my life has given me a rationalistic answer to my own question. To bring this answer to the notice of the Human race I am planning to write an Science Fiction Story. I would like to know whether Ms J.K.Rowlings and her publishers could be of any help to me ( Financially and for Publication.)

Dear Ms. Rowling,
I just finished your 5th book and was very dissapointed by the results of it. As it turns out, my favorite character DIED. So now are there no means of communication with him, but I can't read the past books without feeling awful that that character died without knowing it! I know I can't rewrite the book, but there must be some way to still have Harry linked to that character. Please do not just throw out the possibility that this character would not be able to meet Harry in his dreams or through some other means or communication. I think it would be a catastrophe if this character were never to be brought up again. Please do not discard him, PLEASE.
Sincerely,
Kelcie

Dear Ms. Rowling,
We really love your books. But although they have been great, we are dissopointed that you are going to stop after the 7th book. We think that you should make an 8th book telling about Harry's carreer of becoming an Auror, and defeating Voldemort in that book. If you already have ideas like that for other books, we are excited to read them!
Sincerely,
Emily and Claire

I've read the 5th book and I think it's excellent even though I cried that Sirius is dead. I'm proud of you people here btw, who say he's your fave character.. other people are mad as hell and are acting as if they own the bloody story and trying to get her to "undead" Sirius..*rolls eyes* hehe, gj JKR another well written book, and the moodiness came across well, it's exactly like I was a couple of years ago *smiles* HAHAHA I'll buy 10 copies of the next one if you put heaps of malfoy in it *smirks*
Posted by: Serena Malfoy on June 23, 2003 07:59 PM
As much as i wish i know that Sirius Black will not appear in the Sixth book. I agree with Serena Malfoy and knowing that J.K cannot "undead" Sirius. i aslo agree with Emily and Clair in making an Eighth book, like an "Afterword" sort of deal. Well if any one has any info about the upcoming books or movies please tell me.
Sincerely, maggie

J.K.,
Your books are the best I've read in my entire life. I am in awe of your amazing literary talent and hope I can someday be a credited author such as yourself. Words can hardly express how much the Harry Potter series has opened my eyes to the wonderful world of fantasy. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone automatically had me hooked. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was just as entertaining, as were the third and fourth books, though overall, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix have got to be my absolute favorites. I received the fifth edition of the series the day it came out and had it finished two days later.
The only thing bad about the books is that they are rumored to end with number seven. I think that the epic stories should continue until Harry is married, has a child of his own, and Voldemort is dead. Though I realize this is a lot to ask, I hope it shows how much I appreciate your works. Please at least go to number nine, because I really want to know how Harry does in the real world, who his new friends are, and what he ultimately decides to be.
An awe-inspired fan,
Leah Denise Baker

Hey J.K.!
knowing that you might have a lot of time on your shoulders, but I wanted to ask something of you. How do you get such amazing ideas? I want to be a great author like you some day. I'm already starting to write my first and second book. I'm going to have a series. So far I'm in the middle of my first book because i want to rewrite it. The first time, it was horrible and stupid now that i've made changes, I think it's better. so far it's 92 pgs. long. I hope I can get it published soon. i think (and hope) that it'll inspire readers as well as your books do. It's fiction. I would very much like to discuss it with you, if you ever have time. I know what it's like to be an author (sorta). I'm 12 by the way. See ya and PLEASE!!!! send me an e-mail.

Dear Mrs. Rowling,
I had a few questions still on my mind after reading Order of the Pheonix. First off, I think what would have mad a lot of people happy is if Harry and Cho hooked up. Secondly, since when did all of the characters of Harry Potter start using mate. In all of the previous books, I don't remember them using "mate" in their vocabulary. Thirdly, I was wondering if you could email me. Yeah so if you could replay A.S.A.P that would be great!

Dear Ms Rowling
I would really appreciate it if you made Harry go out with Cho again. I have read word by word how Cho got in love with Harry, and how she lost interest in him as well. I would really appreciate it if you told me if Harry will end up with Cho Chang in the end.
Personally, That is what i would want and I believe many other readers would appreciate that too!
My best hopes and Regaards

Mrs. J.K.R.,
Hi, I just wanted to say how much I LOVE your books. At first, I refused to read them, thinking they would be stupid, babyish storys. Then my mom made me read the 1st one, Harry Potter and the Philosiphers/Sorcerers Stone, and by the second page, I was snapping a everyone who bothered me! I have read the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th books so many times, they are falling apart! I love them so much, I've read them about seventy times. Each. I have also read Order of the Phoenix, and thought it was very good. There are some things I wish to point out, that are really confusing me. Do you think you could e-mail me your e-mail address at poakland6@msn.com?
Your Fan,

At the end of your fifth book, Ron said that Harry should find someone more cheerful to date than Cho Chang. But after reading two books about him liking Cho, I can't think about myself reading a Harry Potter book in which he is dating someone beside her. So I hope that Harry and Cho get back together in the sixth book. I also feel that Luna Lovegood and Ron should get together(It seemed to me that she was nicer to Ron to Harry(Page 403 "Anyway...good luck,Ronald").

except for on thing. You killed off the one
charactor I loved! Why couldn't Harry just use the
time turner to stop himself from going to save sirius.Oh,
and since it's not a very good idea to run into yourself in the
past, Harry could have used the invisibility cloak and gotton it before
the "past" Harry. Then the "Present" Harry could leave out the two way Mirror
(which sirius gave to him and said,"use it to contact me")for the "past"
Harry to find and that way Harry could talk to snuffels and knew
he was there and wouldn't of gotten tricked by kreacher.
Harry wouldn't ven need to go to Umbridge's office.

Dear Mrs. Rowling,
I always loved your books, all of the Harry Potter series find a place on my bookshelf. I read Order of the Pheonix and I was impressed. Your writing skills are amazing...what I hate is that you killed off my favorite character. And the fact that you wrote it so well... I cried, Not because he was my favorite character, but because you wrote it...and I could see myself there, I could see myself in Harry's shoes. I beg of you, Bring back Sirius. He was my favorite character, because he brought something to the book, there was just something he did for it that all of those characters couldn't. People might think it is stupid of me to say I cried, but its the whole truth, that is just a compliment on your wonderful writing skills. I myself am writing a book, and I recently had to kill someone off...and she is one of my best friends in real life, so I can imagine how horrible it had to be to kill off Sirius, but imagine how wonderful you will feel if you bring him back. Email me sometime if you read this Mrs. Rowling. My email adress is Shelbings@yahoo.com

Wow I lvoe your books. I just finished reading the 5th one. It was so hard for me to put it down anytime i had priorities. When Sirius died even tears would not show how horrible i felt inside. Just has Harry had explained he didn't want to be around anyone. That is exactly how I felt. I never thought a book could move me this much. Sometimes I thought as if Harry was changing a little too much in this book. He became a brat sometimes which adds to his character but was never used in the 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th book. PLease hurry up and write the sixth one. And if there is anyway to bring Sirius Black back it would make so many readers happy including myself. Keep being a brilliant writer you are

I have to say that my favorite books were the 3rd book and the5th book although after reading "Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix" i cried for 2 days. that might seem stupid to some but Sirius was a very signifigant part of the books for me. He was unique, caring, and i just loved his charecter sooo much! PLEASE, if there is ANY way for Sirius to turn up alive and that he was just knocked out or something, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring him back somehow or at least make it so Harry can talk to him...Siruis was the most important part of his life. PLEASE if you get a chance, could you email me at blackstallion459@yahoo.com with a message or your email address. Thank you so much for putting all your time and hard work into writing these amazing books! i know they enriched the lives of thousands and maybe millions of people in this world.

I don't think you should bring him back, but I think you should make a way for Harry to talk to him. That would make me, and alot of other readers very happy.

My second favorite harry potter book was the 3rd book. that is why i am upset with the death of SIRIUS BLACK. i couldnt believe that he had just died. in the book, his death seems very suspicious, and not with a lot of details. i believe that he will come back some how, and if not, i really hope harry gets to talk to him somehow. though with sirius's death, harry seems to want more revenge on voldemort. ms rowling, if you are read this, i really hope you would email me at kiksumazz@yahoo.com of why you had killed off sirius. i know you probably have a very busy life, but i really have some comments i would like to say. and please start writing your 6th harry potter book vvery soon! i am not the only harry potter fan who is waiting for the 6th book.

Another thing I must add...
I Read this book on a long car trip, in which I finished it in the whole 13 hours it took to get from GA to NY. I then proeeded to stay in New York for 5 Days.... in those five days, nothing else was on my mind except this book. This is easily your best Mrs.Rowling, definetly. It left me feeling so sad. Then I read it again on the way back tonight and I read all of it again, and I must say, I cried more the second time.
I am extremely sincere when I say Sirius was my favorite character, ever since we met him as the estranged god father in "The Prisoner Of Azkaban" and as the lovable stray Snuffles.
I thought Sirius brought something to the book that none of the other characters did. He never showed his emotions outright, Harry and almost ALL of the other characters wore their hearts on their sleeves, Sirius was one of the only ones who had the air of mystery about him, you never knew what he was REALLY thinking. And that is why I loved his character so much.
I never thought a book could make me cry, simply by having a character die, When Cedric died I simply kept on reading. But as SOON as I read that Bellatrix's curse hit him in the chest, I felt as though I was there, watching the only person left in my family who ever truly loved me falling to the ground in horror and surprise. I felt as though I was watching my best friend's body roll behind a curtain and never to be seen again, I felt as though I was the one scrambling and straining to get down to my last hope of a family before they really ever died.
That is just how good your writing is. I don't think I have ever been that moved with any other book.I cried from that moment, until the last word of the book. Sirius should not have been the one to die though, He was just too crucial. Maybe the next book, you could bring him back, and it could be like, the veil he disappeared behind, transported him somewhere and he only just found his way back. That would be very good. Harry has been through too much, and as a MAJOR Sirius fan, he didn't deserve it.
Sirius didn't break out of Azkaban to die two years later at the hands of his own cousin. He just didn't.
In loving memory of Sirius Black.
P.S.- I would LOVE it if you emailed me sometime, I really would, You are afterall my favorite writer, if you knew my mom... She would tell you, the day before Order Of The Pheonix came out, I was like twitching I was SO excited, and I even reread the fourth one like 5 times before I got my book.

A readers thoughts,
I read through these posts and only a small few express what is on my mind. There were a few things about this book that I just didn’t seem to like, I can’t really explain them, its just something in the back of my head. I’m not saying I didn’t like the book, I really loved it, and can’t wait till my siblings are done reading it so I can read it again and maybe put my finger on what I might had not liked the first time. One of the few things I disliked would be the lack of explanation in a few parts, all of a sudden it was mid January and then mid February. We all now that Harry can’t stay put that long with out getting into trouble. And there was less of Harry moving around the castle. Just minor dislikes of mine. Now the whole thing about him not traveling is because of his down hearted spirit, I think you did a superb job in making Harry change his attitude towards things. It was a harsh change but you were able to do it successfully. And the thing with Cho and his emotions and feelings towards her, you really made it sound like a true “relationship” if you could call it that. Almost makes me think of Harry’s parents from the dram, foreshadowing I personally believe. Harry is going through a lot of changes and as a writer you know you can’t keep the little happy character always happy and jumping around with his light hearted spirit. As readers we should all understand that also. Now to the part with Sirius Black, and his dreadful death. I applaud you at that bold move and making a great and powerful character just die. Not many authors can bring them selves to kill of such great characters. And this death will allow Harry to grow emotionally, become even stronger from that great loss. People just want everything to be happy and cheerful, and if am shocked this many people are angry about his death. Each book has gotten just a little more dark and this was the darkest of them all so far, and in dark books people just seem to die. And to make Harry’s life dark something awful had got to happen, and Sirius’ death is very hard for Harry. Over all I really liked this book and I am willing to discuss my thoughts or the way I see things with anyone here.

I loved your books, and I'm just wondering when the sixth Harry Potter book is
going to come out, and what it is called. Am I going to have to wait another
YEAR for the sixth book to come out? Since I had read the 4th book for
about the hundredth time, I was kind of getting anxious for the 5th book to come
out, and now that I have it, and have finished it, I was just wondering if it's going
to take another year for the 6th one to come out. I know it takes a long time to
finish a book, even to get an idea for a book, but the way you write, it seems like
these ideas just pop into your head, and onto paper.
I was also wondering, are you planning on bringing Sirius or Snuffles back into
the Harry Potter series? Because he was one of my favourite charecters!
Please bring him back.
I think you are an awesome writer, and some day I hope to be as good a writer
as you are.
Bye from your #1 fan

Could you please send me a reply! I really want to hear from you!
You bring me into the book, and make me an extra charecter! I love it when a writer can do that! Your books keep on getting better, and better, and I wish that you would write more than seven books, but at least I'll have all the books. Because your books can be read over, and over, and never get boring.
I love that!

Dear Ms. Rowling,
In our country, there are copies of The ORder of The Phoenix circulating in email. Is this authorized? In my opinion, this is very unfair.
I admire your books very much, almost to the brink of fanaticism, and somehow, the email thing bothers me.
How did this happen?
Thanks.

dear j.k. rowling,
i am a huge fan of yours and i absolutely loved the fifth book. as i read one of the chapters, "snape's worst memory" it came to me that it was probably a lot more interesting when harry's parents were in school. so my cousins and i came up with an idea to try to reach you and tell you about this idea. we would really like to see 7 books when they were going to school, so i will be posting this in many other sites to let other HP fans know about it and try to get their support. so, if ANYBODY out there agrees with me, please tell me here at this site or try to spread my idea on to other sites, thank you and hopefully my idea happens.
thank you,

hello,
Yea i'm sad that sirius died, but i wish everyone would stop telling her to bring him back, he's prolly dead for a reason and she's already stated in other books that there's no way to bring the dead back. So just stop, if she brings him back that's great, if she doesn't that's fine too. as for that 7 books of harry's parents, she's spent so many years writing these already, she's prolly sick of harry potter and those wouldn't nearly be as interesting becuz harry's parents didn't have some evil dark wizard trying to kill them every year. if they did i'm sure we would have heard about it. thank you bye.

well i think that if you make about 50 million dollars for one of the Harry Potter books that she would probably think it's a great idea for 7 books of Harry's Parents so i have to disagree with you kate

Dear Ms. Rowling,
Hello! Of course I read your fifth book of Harry Potter and as always, I loved it -- so much! It's too bad Sirius had to die :'(. Anyway, as much as I loved it, I have to admit, I don't like the fact Ron isn't "included" -- please, at least let him say Voldemort's name ... please please please? It's pretty annoying that Harry and Hermione both do things without Ron involved. I know I sound pretty stupid, complaining that my favourite character "is not there". But really: Harry and Hermione say Voldemort's name and Ron does not (can he PLEASE at least say it????). Harry and Hermione meet Grawp and Ron does not. Harry and Hermione get to lead Umbridge to the centaurs that drive her off (ha ha). Before Hermione was hit with a curse by that Death Eater ... she and Harry fought the Death Eaters with Neville, but without Ron. That's the only thing I don't appreciate, but the rest, honestly, is perfectly fine. Please change this thing about Harry and Hermione without Ron ... but I'm not trying to ruin your plot or anything. If I am, just please, please, please let Ron say Voldemort's name!!! PLEASE?????????????????????
The Harry Potter books are AWESOME, Ms. Rowling!! You are an amazing author. Keep up the good work ... I absolutely canNOT wait for the sixth and seventh books! I know they will be just as amazingly awesome as the earlier books of the series.
Sincerely, Kaylee Delorah

Hey J.K sup? Well, I've read all 5 books and seen and have all the movies. Ok, I've always thought Harry and Hermione go together, not Harry and Cho. She's too hard on Harry by talking to him about Cedric when Harry just saw him die. Oh, I know this web site where they can write stories about Harry Potter and what they think is going to happen. Of course they have to put a disclaimer telling that HP and everything else belongs to you. It's Fanfiction.net I love it. Oh, and why did you have to kill Sirius? (snuff, sniff) He was so cool. Now all that Harry has left is Lupin. He's pretty cool but he's like Hermione, doesn't want to break rules. Well thanx for your time. Hope you get to read this. I know you are very, very, very, very busy. Signed Harry+Hermione 4 ever!!!!!

Mrs. Rowling,
Please e-mail me back very much so because I want to wish you a Happy birthday tomorrow since your birthday is tomorrow. Might I say that your books are totally awsome. Without your books, nobody out there would be reading. Your books changed the world in a positive direction. I'm so happy that you have a baby boy. May god and you give him love and carness so maybe your son will someday write a book of his own. As soon as you stop writing harry potter books, what other books are you going to write? Also, tell Danial Radcliffe or however you spell his last name that I said hi and a late happy birthday. May your next book be one in a million books to read. Thank you very much and again, Happy Birthday. Your Biggest Fan, Lauren Ashley Kramer PS: I also like writing too. Maybe we can team up together some day. Mostly I'm good a poetry.

dear JK ROWLING
i just wanted to say that your books are really good and i can't understant why before i said it was borring .
at first i really didn't like Harry Potter .i always said that it was for little children and then last year when i read the book 4(even if i didn't read the first 3 and that i didn't understand a thing) in french i began to really like it; so i began to start normally from first until fourth and now mid year 2003 the fifth came only in english and i couldn't wait until end 2003 for the french one; so i tried to read it in english and i succeed it, i read in 1 week.
Actually it's quite easy to understand english
EVEN IF ITS A BOOK AND LIKE THAT YOU CAN PRACTICE YOUR LANGUAGE FOR SCHOOL(it's just my first year of english)
i almost forgot i didn't really understand who were the one speaking in the little room in the chapter BEYOND THE VEIL?answer me please
later on maybe i would like to be a writer because i really like reading and my friend tell me that i have a lot of imagination and acting will be also a good idea to play on a film ,like in Harry Potter and with the character of Cho even if she does not much cause i'm a chinese also
please let Cho go back with Harry in the six and the seven i don't really like the character of Micheal , ithink it's this name in the fifth at the end the one who broke up with Ginny
well i have nothing else to say so ciao
please give me your email adress
mine is darkevileye2002@hotmail.com or jen_yan_belgium2002@yahoo.com

Dear Ms. Rowling
I have finished the 5th book and like others am very sad that Sirius died. I tried to find your email adress but no success, anyways i read different comments and i came acroos people who hoped you write more then 7 books, 8 to be precise. And i agree, harry potter is so cool, it's sad it ends after the 7th one. Maybe you could make a 8th book about the foundation of hogwarts. I can't wait for the 6th book to appear, also sad it didn't work out between cho and harry. I am currently re-reading the tome 5 again i think i'm and the chapter " seen and unforseen" i am really waiting for the 6th book, i hope that sirius's not really dead because there is something that luna lovegood told at the end of the book : " oh come on. You heard them, behind the veil, didn't you?...."In that room with the archway. They were just lurking out of sight, that's all. You heard them." or i could be wrong, anyway Ms Rowling if you are reading this please sent an email- at "fordflic7@hotmail.com" Love your books J.k. i'll always be a harry potter fan.

Dear Ms. Rowling,
I hear rumors about Harry Potter.
That he, in the seventh volume, he'll die.
PLEASE, DON'T DO THIS, PLEASE. If you let him die, he wil die from our imagination, the children's imagination, the whole world's imagination. Please, don't let him die.
I was very sad when I readed with my own eyes that Sirius die's I almost cryed.
I know you think I'm english, but I'm not. I'm romanian. We, romanians are BIG fans of Harry.
My respects,

Dear J.K Rowling,
I don't know if you read these messages here, but it is alot of messages here and I don't know if you have time to, since you're always writing (and I'm glad you do.) I just want to tell you I loved your books. I've been wanting to tell you this since I read Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix ( and I know many already did) that you made my cousin and I really sad when Sirius died.
I don't know why, but I can't control myself from crying, and I know that it's just a character but it feels so real. I'm hoping that you could do something about this, maybe the next book of adventure could be about how Harry could bring Sirius back to life. Right now I'm reading the third book to my little sister Annie (and gladly she really enjoyed it.) Also, you've inspired me to become a writer and someday...just someday I could be just like you.
I hope this LONG message wont be too long, but sadly I dont know your adress, because I have many more to say to you and I probably can't have my questions answered. I hope you're writing more than 7 books, because if you don't I might cry. I've already reread your books 5 times each. I hope I know a memory charm so I could forget every thing I read from Harry Potter books and I could reread it again and again and still enjoy it. Real life is too boring, I hope I could be part of the Harry Potter books where adventures never stop and magic is possible. Your books made me trap in my own world and dreams, this make me feel sad I'm not really in my dreams. Hmmm... I'm sorry I wrote that long, but that's me! When eveyone else wrote two paragraphs for their homework, I wrote two whole pages! I just cant stop writing when I'm really into it. I hope it's a good thing. Bye!

Dear J.K. Rowling,
We are from a place in the middle of Nowhere, but people in Nowhereville still care about Sirius Black! I think that you have heard this in every other email and any other thing posted on this board, but we will tell you anyways, we want Black back! You better bring him back, or the good people of Nowhereville will be forced to cast an Everlasting Ear Itching curse on you.
P.S. If you kill Lupin, we will cast an Eternally Bad Tasting Tongue spell on you!
P.P.S. We mean it.

Dear J.k. Rowling,
I love all your books. You have inspired me. I want to be just like you. I have been trying to find ways to get my letter to you and then I found this. I am your number one fan. I am doing a report on you for school because i totally admire you. I hope you write back to me because it would make me real happy. My biggest wish is to meet you, but if i can't do that, i can at least get a letter From you.
Your Number One Fan,

Dear J.K. Rowling,
I read the fifth Harry Potter book, and I liked it. But there is one problem, WHY DID YOU KILL SIRIUS? He is the best character of all the books. I know that he is dead, but you MUST bring him back, maybe make him a ghost. I also find it sad that there are only going to be 7 books about Harry Potter. Maybe you can make books about Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs when they were kids. Please make more books!
Posted by: Sirius on September 29, 2003 03:51 PM
Dear Mrs. Rowling,
I DEMAND you 2 bring Black Back. He did not die, it was only a stunning spell that hit him. Sirius was the BEST character there was, and he shouldn't die when he struggled 2 survive in the past books. And about the thing that there are only 7 Harry Potter books, I know that u want 2 go back 2 your normal life after u r done writing, but u still can make more. u should make books about Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs, Lily, and James when they were children. I think that it would be intresting, because I liked the chapter in your book called "Snape's Worst Memory." It was fun for a change 2 know what their lives were like.
From a Sirius fan,
Padfoot

Dear Ms. Rowling,
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BOOKS! At first I didn't want to read them because I thought that they would be boring. WHAT WAS I ON! My all time favorite so far of the series is Prisoner of Azkaban. Mostly because I love the characters Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. I have read all your book at least 4 or more times with exception of the 5th book. So far I have read the 5th book 3 times and hopefully going on thr forth sense I don't have a lot of reading time because I'm in the 10th grade. But everytime I read the 5th book I cry near the end because Sirius DIES!!!! : ( I know that you've heard people begging no pleading you to make Sirius come back which I don't blam them but come on couldn't they just let you be. I'm not going to beg you to bring Sirius back but I know that that would make hundreds of Sirius lovers happy. Because Harry doesn't have anyone now, well, I guess I can't say that because he does have Lupin and Mrs. Weasley. But still, Lupin isn't he same and Mrs. Weasley will act like a mother hen even more than usual. Not that I don't like her! I real love her attitude : ). But anyways, I do hope that you at least consider on bring Sirius back or at least a very surpising charcter in the next book like maybe his daughter.(?) Just a little fan hopefulness. I also would like to add that your doing a great job even for a busy mother. Keep up the excellent work and, if you don't mind, would you email me back about the matter on Sirius? Email is kcrandall@citlink.net.
Your Fan Always,
Colleen (aka Loony Luna)
Got the name even before the book came out by my mother.I told her I like the name Luna and I'm kind of loony sometimes so she decided to call me Loony Luna. Small world HuH?

Dear Ms. Rowling,
I am a big fan in love with the book "Harry Potter", but unfortunately i can`t have it.I am from Romania and when the first volume appeared I was so excited because I wnted it.
I beg of you help me get at least the first volume
I read a lot and your book is the coolest one ever.i wish you a merry Christmas and a very happy
New Year.
mine won`t be like that probably because
the price of a book in romanian money is equal to 240euros in england. Now I leave alone with my problems and i hope to get an answer soon.

Also, i want you to know, I am actually writing the best book I've ever written-EVER. You were the one that inspired me to write fantasy books.
I used to write mystery books, and I wasn't to good at that. Actually, I wrote my last mystery book when I was about 8 years old, so no wonder!
Of course, right now, I'm only a few years older than that, and I'm still not the best writer in the world, (I honestly believe that's you right now) but I am better, and I really like it.
My mother is reading it, and she likes it! That really feels good. Now, if my little brother likes it, I will know I will have written an extraodinary book, almost as extraodinary as yours.
That has been my mission the last 4 or 5 years. I want to right a book better than yours. That will be really hard, I know, since I've read every book three times, (except for Order of the Phoenix, great name, by the way) and I haven't read ANY other book except for The Giver three times. Also, I read Interstellar Pig three times, but I kept forgetting I had already read that book!

Dear J.K.Rowling, I was crying for ages after reading about sirius's death even about reading it for the 8th time, i still feel quite depressed ove rthe death and the heartache harry is/must be going through, although i respect that your had to do it and to the nagging fans wanting J.K.Rowling to undead Sirius is say this : J.K.Rowling must of killied him for a reason after all there is still to more books to go and as Prof. Dumbledore says in the forth book "No spell can awaken the dead" also read the names in the first few chapters because after reading the forth book again the are characters breifly mentioned that later appear in the 5th book like mundungus and also at the end he mention's arabella figg i.e Mrs Figg

Dear Joanne Rowling or anyone else who can help,
I would like to know what Sirius Black was like as a kid (kid, teen, whatever). I have been reading so much fanfiction that I don't know what's true or not anymore! I have come to believe, through my reading, that Sirius was a handsome prankster with an ego as large as several universes. My friend, who calls herself Hermione Granger, reminded me that the stories written on the web are most likely not written based on your brilliant books. Are the stories even slightly on the right track? Does anyone else know?

Dear Miss Rowling,
i loved your books, more than any other book in the world. I just moved to a new city, in FL, USA, and nobody thought the same about your books, but I convinced them enough to read them, and spend some time on them. Believe me... it was hard work! Now, about the 89.5 percent of my school loves your books. This letter was just to inform you that great writers like you are never to be left apart, and that there'll always be someone like me to show how good and inspiring your talent is!
if you have (just if: i know how buisy you are) time, write me back at my e-mail address. thatnk you!

Uh ok people up there u r weird.
Dear Jk
Harry was a real brat in Order of the Phoenix, but the way you wrote sort of made me channel his feelings, except for one thing, I could never be mad at Dumbledore. I dont really like characters like harry, they just seem so false to me, i dont know why, but i dont like characters like Draco either, I prefer Fred and George :) they are just so cool!
And i really need your help, u seem to have a really cool way with words, so do you think you could help me write a letter to johnny depp? I've tried but i can never get it right :( He's so cool dont you think? hehe im bored out of my mind. I should really be playing like 7 different online games but they are all boring, and i do have homework i should be doing but thats just gonna send me to sleep, no cartoons on either. Nuin else to do :( *sigh* guess i could roller blading, but skate park empty, no fun unless theres ppl there to laugh at :P
hmm i might go play ps2, ive finished all my games though, might finish defiance again- its such a cool game, cant wait till the next one :)

Im writing a book called Reil Vinu, i dont need help cuz im a wiked writer but u think i should change the name?
Posted by: Zer0 on April 3, 2004 12:13 AM
Hey,
Yeah me again :)
I just read some more of u pplz letters and i would just like to say i hope sirius doesnt get ressurected in any way, maybe he comes to harry in a couple of dreams and harry isnt sure if its his imagine nation or if its really sirius and he starts getting really confused and stuff, but like order of the pheonix wouldnt of been half as good if sirius didnt die, and i think for everything to happen as harry would like it would just ruin the books, i mean the writing in that book wouldnt have been half as detailed if sirius hadnt died because that set off harrys emotions and the readers emotions. So i think sirius shoud stay dead, and i also think that more people should be killed by voldemort forcing harry into a fit of rage, then he goes after voldemort, and harry's rage is blinding him and he is throwing aimless but powerful hexes and curses at voldemort until finally one of voldemorts death eaters hits harry with the imperius curse and harry is finally awakened in his sub-concious and hears voldemort saying "goodbye harry potter, Avada...." the rest gets drowned out cuz harry's anger turns to strength he fights off the imperius curse and hits voldemort with some hex, then fred or george apparate to the rescue and takes harry some place safe.
ROFL,

Hello J.K., I hope you get read this.
I think your books are excellent for readers of all ages, and the descriptions are great! I am looking forward to the next book, and i have actually read them all atleast 4 times now. You have inspired me to write, and I thank you, and I have sent in a short story of mine into a contest called Anthology of short stories, the people who also do anthology of poetry. I would love to develop a unique writing style as you have, and I hope I get to meet you someday.
Posted by: another_writer on April 4, 2004 02:23 PM
I agree with Zero, Sirius needs never to be contacted in any way again or not until the seventh book, because it would totally destroy the purpose of him dying, and the book would be terrible if he was resurrected in any way, shape, or form. I think it would be a good idea if harry gets obsessed over his picture or something, then he is hiding it from everyone and goes mad. lol

Dear Joanne Kathleen,
I'm a very huge fan. I've read the first three books at least 5 times each and the fourth and fifth twice. You have inspired me on a lot of neat story ideas. But what I really enjoyed is the movies. Your books brought on the movies, which brought on my huge wanting to be an actress. I know it's highly unlikely, but if you ever get to read this, I would highly appreciate if you would say something to some of the people that work on the Harry Potter movies. It's my very biggest dream ever! I may live a couple thousand miles away from where they shoot the films, but it really is my dream to become an actress on those movies!
Much love from Ohio,

Hello J.K. Rowling
I am most impressed with the kind of work and effort you have placed in the books, for I am enchanted with the delightful art you have written. I've read your books at least ten times, because I love to get into the world of fantasy wherer all the things that happen would only appear in your books and your immagination. AS long as I've been through I've read up to the fifth book: I do hope you will continue writting until you get to the seventh book which I consider it will be awesome! As far as I go yourn the best writer I have ever known! Youre books are even better than the Lord of The rings. I extremely appreciate the kind of work you've placed.
I would love to keep on reading your books THEY ARE THE BEST!
Thank YOU

Hi!
My name is Emma and I live in Sweden, I’m 17 years old and I really love your books about Harry Potter.
I am writing to you because I have a few questions about your next books. I have heard that you not going to publish the next book about Harry Potter, I really want to know if it’s true?
I have recently finish your fifth book, and I was ready to drop when I had read it. It was so dam good.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix took me about 15 hours to read, but the text was on Swedish of course. It’s the second best book so far, I think that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best book right know. But I already wait for the next book that I hope you are going to publish. I want the last book about Harry to be the best book in the series. But take your time, I would wait 5 years for it to be the best book I’m going to read.
My second question is if you have write other books then Harry Potter?
If you have I want to know the names to the book or books.
I want you to send your answers to my email- address when you can.
Many hugs to my favourite writer and her family who inspired her.
From a big fan- Emma J.

Well, first, thank you soooo much J.K. Rowling for writing the HP books. I'm totally in love with them! I've read books 1-4 six times each, and book 5 about three times. I was ver sad when Sirius died, I started crying. He was one of my favorite characters. But what I really want to tell you is that I've heard rumors that Harry may die in book 7, NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not make that happen! I love Harry, and I don't think I'll ever be able to read another one of those books again! I really do not want you to make Harry die. Please make Voldemort be defeated by Harry. But if you have to, like you hinted in the fifth book about Harry and Neville having to battle each other, have Neville die instead!(No offense Neville!!) But PLEASE don't have Harry die! I'll be heartbroken, and I;m sure many others will too. But please if you can, don't make Harry die, I don't care what else you do in the books, just don't let Harry Potter die!!! But, don't worry , I'll still read the seventh book, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to read it more than once if Harry dies! So if you ever read this please don't let Harry die! I was in tears when Sirius died, I'll cry a river if Harry dies! I would really love to have your e-mail address and/or your address. Here's mine, PLEASE e-mail me at. oh yeah, I forgot, I'm your #1 fan. You rule J.K. Rowling!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear J.K. Rowling,
I would just like to say that those who think that the 5th book is too long (or any books) are really, really thick. I mean, your books have hidden meanings and clues you have to find. You have, in the words of the people who write those "clues to harry potter" books, Rowlinguistics. Draco Malfoy means, in reality : dragon Bad plan. My guess would be that Ron's red ears are very important. I wonder, at the end of the 4th book, what Snape did, and If he is part vampire (sallow skin, black hair, and, in Book 4, Ron and Harry talk about him 'turning into a bat') Please, please continue to write fascinating books, perhas after Harry Potter, move on to Hermione and Ron's struggles? Or Malfoy's? What are the title's of the 6th and 7th books going to be? Please e-mail me back and expect a fan letter soon from me.

there is a small flaw in the book.
Harry is able to see THESTRALS only when he returns to hogwarts in his fifth year.
But in the GOBLET OF FIRE ,Harry was taken to hogsmeade station in the end by the carriages drawn by thestrals .So he should have been able to see them at that time .But you have called them horseless carriages.
Surely he would have seen the thesrals then itself as he had seen Cedric die.
OR DOES IT TAKE TWO MONTHS AFTER SEEING SOMEONE DIE TO SEE THE THESTRALS!!!!!!
hoping to get this doubt cleared.
I posted it here as I couldn't find any other way to contact you. So if anyone reads this please send it to J K ROWLING.
and I must say the books are highly enjoyable and imaginative!
