I don't know much about diamonds, although I have been reading up on them lately and what is best in a diamond and all, but my point is that none of us know what a good diamond really is, except the professionals who have studied this stuff in school. I don't care what people have read in magazines, or what not, but the point is, she has a pink diamond ring. That's right, a pink friggin ring. Does it really matter what color it is? All the people out there that looooooove J Lo are gonna love WHATEVER it is that she wears or owns. I don't understand why everyone goes gaga over what movie stars or singers have. Yeah they have a lot of money, so they can spend it stupidly. Everyone is missing out on the point of what an engagement ring is supposed to mean. It doesn't matter how big it is, as long as you keep a true meaning behind it, that you love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together, to cherish each other, and work through great times and BAD!! It shouldn't be whether the ring is 1 carat or 5 carats, or pink or clear, although it is advised to stay away from the yellow ones. I THINK EVERYONE NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND STOP DROOLING OVER J LO's belongings, and everyone needs to get a personality of their own, in the sense that its ok to look up to movie stars or singers, but to just drool over everything they do and wear and say is just stupid, live your own lives, and make your own styles, because believe me, most of you people who have commented in here seem as if you would COPY J LO even if she wore a pile of junk she found in a garbage pale. We love looking at beautiful Jewelry here, and that Pink Diamond Ring of J-Lo is really a wonderful specimen, but love is what it's all about and the ring is supposed to be a symbol not of wealth but of marriage and a love that is meant to be sacred and last forever.

My report will be Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer is my favorite celebrity. I’ll be talking a little bit about Jennifer’s life.
Jennifer Lopez was born into a Puerto Rican family on July 24,1970. She lived in the New York, Bronx, with her dad, mom and two sisters Maria and Linda. Her dad David Lopez was a computer specialist; her mom Guadalupe was a kindergarten teacher.
During Jennifer’s high school days, all the kids at school referred to her as La Guitarra, which means “the guitar” she was called this because her body is shaped like a guitar. Jennifer participated in track she was one of the fastest runners on the team. Jennifer engaged to David Cruz at the age of 15. She referred to him as “the finest guy in the neighborhood”. David and Jennifer never married because Jennifer chose her career over David.
Jennifer has always known what she wanted so she began working on her career as a musical theater actress. At 16, she got a small part in the film “My Little Girl”; it wasn’t until 1990 Jennifer got her big break through. She won a dance audition that got her a spot on a hit TV show “In Living Color”.
Later on she auditioned for a dance spot on Janet Jackson’s dance video “That’s The Way Love Goes”. Jennifer got the spot and was even offered to go on Janet Jaksons world tour as a full time dancer but a few days before the tour Jennifer backed out to pursue her acting career.
In 1995 Jennifer was a co-star in “Money Train” which opened many doors for Jennifer like playing other parts with Jack Nicholson, Robin Williams, Jimmy Smits and Edward James Olmos.
Jennifer played a major role as Selena, a tejana singer. Which made Jennifer a major super star and the highest paid Latina actress it also opened the doors for Jennifer to start her singing career.
1997, Jennifer married Ojani Noa. Jennifer and Ojani Noa’s marriage didn’t last they divorced less then a year later. This didn’t stop Jen she went on and played roles in U-Turn, Anaconda, The Cell, Out of Site and Antz.
Later she and Sean Puffy Combs were engaged. 1999, Sean helped Jennifer with her album “On The Six”. Jennifer named her cd on the 6 because when she was littler she use to take the number 6 train to Manhattan for dance lessons. Well making the music video “My Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, for the “On The 6” cd Sean Puffy Combs was replaced with Chris Judd. Jennifer and Chris married in 2001 and divorced 9 months later.
2001, Jennifer played the role of Mary in the “Wedding Planner” which was the number 1 movie on the charts. She also played the role of Sharon in “Angel Eyes” which was a two thumbs up. In 2002 Jennifer came out with the movie “Enough”.
Later Jennifer started acting in the film “Gigli” with Ben Affleck. Ben and Jennifer started dating, which later led to engagement. However her catholic priest advised her against marriage do to the fact that both of her previouse marriages were both less then a year.
Jennifer took the priest’s advise and went on just be Ben’s girlfriend. Later she started to film “Maid I Manhattan” which is the best romance movie since “Pretty Women”.
Ben and Jennifer are thinking about having kids. Jennifer thinks she’s to old to have kids so there back up plans are to adopt. After thinking about having kids Jen and Ben can’t wait to get married. Vampiro, you are right on! I'm not exactly a J-Ho hater, but I was very amused reading all of these comment, and decided to share my personal thoughts about her. First off, she's playing the hollywood game perfectly, I've dabbled in the industry a little myself. It's a very fake world out there, and she's doing what she can to bank on it. Although, she's turned into somewhat of a media puppet, getting attention and credit for things she didn't create. She definitely has a great power source working for her as far as publicity wise. What she has done, mostly anybody can do if given the right opportunity. And that's why I don't think to highly of her, because I honestly don't see anything that special. She has average looks, no matter what make-up artists do her up. She's living a dream of being perceived actually bigger than she ever thought she could be. I definitely think she can dance, but singing and acting are different stories. She has not created one song on any of her albums, that means the lyrics, the beat, anything. That aspect of her fame got handed to her. Considering I even have one of her albums, I can't stand to listen to this slow song she tries to sing...it sounds just god awful! She doesn't sing live at any of her concerts, because she needs studio equipment to perfect her sound. So I don't respect her in her musical situation. I also think her head has gotten as big as her ass these past years. She got a little respect when she married a no namer, considering most people will use there fame to marry into potentially higher fame. But that didn't last long. I think one day she's going to look at herself in the mirror and think what has she become. It has been musical chairs as far as men are concerned, she's playing the hollywood game by staying in the tabloids...haven't you guys noticed how much attention each one of her divorces got? Yes, a square diamond IS a princess cut. However, it is NOT the most expensive cut. It is the most POPULAR cut at the moment. The ROUND cut is the most expensive cut because of it's perfect symmetry. Maybe you should try a google search sometime. Also, a round diamond is not a solitaire. It is a ROUND diamond. A solitaire simply means that it is set alone with no other side stones accompanying it. Also, a solitaire can be ANY cut. Be it round, emerald, pear, oval, heart, radiant, trilliant or princess cut. Solitaire...solitary? Alone? Hope this clears a little bit of the confussion up for you.

Oh, and don't forget the marquise cut. I don't really care for those..must be why I accidentally omitted it.
